HONOLULU — On the 75th anniversary of her commissioning, the famous American battleship USS Missouri (BB-43), will sail again via the nation’s mailstream with the issuance of the USS Missouri Forever stamps.

CHARLOTTE, NC – With the help of sponsors, volunteer organizations and U.S. Postal Service employees in 10,000 communities nationwide, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) will conduct its 27th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 11. Stamp Out Hunger is the nation’s largest single-day food drive.
CHARLOTTE, NC – The number of postal employees attacked by dogs nationwide fell in 2018 by more than 500 compared to 2017 and by more than 1,000 since 2016. Dog bites across North Carolina dropped 11 percent, from 190 to 169, in 2018 compared to the previous year.
